Privacy
Website privacy notice · Last updated November 3, 2026
This notice covers the opus-mobile.com website, including the request-access form. The Opus app has its own privacy policy, shown in the app and on its store listings.
What we collect when you request access
- Your email address and whether you use iPhone or Android.
- Which page and which form you signed up from, the referring site if your browser sends one, and any campaign tags in the link (utm parameters).
- The date and time you signed up.
- A one-way scrambled version (hash) of your IP address, used only to stop the same computer flooding the form. We never store the IP address itself.
Why
Only to send you a beta invite (a TestFlight link for iPhone, or a Google Play testing link for Android), to email you about that invite and the Opus launch, and to understand which pages bring people to Opus. To invite you to the Android test we add your email to the tester list in the Google Play Console; Apple sees your email if you accept a TestFlight invite.
We don’t sell your email, share it with advertisers, or add you to anyone else’s list.
Website analytics
We count page views, how far people read our guides, and which sign-up buttons get used, so we can make the site better. This is measured without advertising cookies and without building a profile of you across other websites. Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies; reading and button events are measured with PostHog.
Where it’s stored
Sign-ups are stored in our database hosted by Supabase. Invite emails are sent through Resend.
How long we keep it
Until the testing programme ends and we’ve told you about the public launch, then we delete sign-ups that didn’t become app accounts. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
Email hello@opus-mobile.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop hearing from us. Every email we send also says how to opt out.
